NYSP students gets actor's advice

     Award-winning actor Kene Holliday, who played private
investigator Tyler Hudson on the television show Matlock and has had a
successful career in the theatre, read stories and poetry to
youngsters in the National Youth Sports Program (NYSP) Aug. 8.
     This is the third year NYSP, which is sponsored by the University
and the National Collegiate Athletic Association, has been on campus.
Annette H. Cornish, who is Holliday's sister, is activity director of
NYSP and a student adviser at Newark High School.
     More than 270 young people between the ages of 10 and 16 are
enrolled in the summer program, which includes sports activities,
educational enrichment and programs on drug prevention and good
nutrition.
