Blue & Gold Club to offer pre-theatre dinner specials

     Dinner at the Blue & Gold Club followed by an evening of memorable
entertainment presented by the University's Performing Arts Series is a
winning combination.
     Each evening that a performance is scheduled, the Blue and Gold Club
will offer a pre-theatre dinner for members and their guests from 5-8 p.m.
For a prix fixe of $l5.95, including service charge, the menu offers soup
du jour, salad with a choice of dressings, rolls and butter, a selection of
entrees with vegetable and potato, and a choice of dessert and beverage.
     For added convenience, members can order tickets to the performances
through the Blue & Gold Club when making reservations for dinner. The cost
of the tickets can be charged to a Blue & Gold Club account or to
MasterCard or Visa.
     Parking is available at the club or at the Orchard Road lot.

     * Musicians from Marlboro 8 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 13, Mitchell Hall;
     * Holiday Gala 8 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 14, Loudis Recital Hall,
       Amy E. du Pont Music Building;
     * Mendelssohn String Quartet and guest artists, 8 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 8,
       Loudis Recital Hall, Amy E. du Pont Music Building; and
     * Lenny Picket and the Borneo Horns, 8 p.m., Friday, Jan. 21,
       Mitchell Hall.

     Ticket prices to the Performing Art Series events vary. For ticket
information, call the box office from noon-5 p.m., Monday-Friday, at
831-2204.

     Club membership is required. All University employees are eligible.
First-time members receive a $10 discount on their first year's dues.
