Questions & answers (Employee Annual Campaign)

  Q. Since the giving/fiscal year began July 1, is it too late to
     make a contribution?
  A. Gifts can be received any time throughout the year until June
     30, 1994. Allowing approximately two weeks, payroll deduction can
     be started any time. For instance, a pledge of $100 would mean a
     deduction of less than $6 per pay if spread over 17 pay periods
     beginning Oct. 30.

  Q. When do the designated departments, colleges or programs receive
     dollars withheld through payroll deduction?
  A. Dollars are transferred twice each year, after the Dec. 31 end
     of the calendar year and after the June 30 close of the
     fiscal/giving year. The donor receives a gift acknowledgment from
     the Office of University Development after those transfers.
     Account administrators are notified of the gift unless anonymity
     is requested.
