     Liz Coogan, Delaware '93, a women's swimming team standout, has been
named winner of the NCAA Woman of the Year Award for the state of Delaware.
 Coogan is one of 51 finalists eligible for the national NCAA Woman of the
Year Award, which will be announced in November in Washington, D.C. In
Coogan's honor, the University  will receive a $5,000 award from program
sponsor, Champion. The NCAA Woman of the Year program, recognizes
outstanding senior female student-athletes of NCAA-member schools.
