Visiting professor

     Diedrich Steffens, from the Institute of Plant Nutrition at the Justus
Liebig University in Giessen, Germany, is a visiting professor in the
Department of Plant and Soil Sciences. Stiffens is on campus through May,
conducting research with Donald Sparks, department chairperson, on the
release rates of ammonium from soils.
