United Way; Campaign kickoff set Oct. 13 in Clayton Hall

     Dear Colleagues:

     The 1993 University of Delaware United Way Campaign will be conducted
from Oct. 13 through 27. This year, the University's goal is $140,000; the
overall campaign goal for United Way of Delaware is $18 million.
     Your pledge, in the form of a payroll deduction, will help provide
needed community services year round.  By using the United Way's expanded
designation options, you can direct your gift to community care, targeted
care, specific care, neighboring United Ways and eligible non-member
non-profit organizations.
     For additional information about the campaign, contact the United Way
solicitor in your unit or Employee Services at 831-2171.
     Most importantly, please give generously to the United Way. Your
contribution will help to continue the tradition of people helping people
and enhance the quality of life in our community.
