UD Women's Club
     The first meeting of the University Women's Club will be held at 7
p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 29, in the President's home at 47 Kent Way.
     The meeting will be hosted by Louise Roselle. Items on the agenda
include a possible interest group, the holiday craft sale and a wine and
cheese tasting party.

Diversity open house
     The Campus Diversity Unit will hold an open house from 3-4:30 p.m.,
Friday, Sept. 24, in 305 Hullihen Hall.

Study abroad info
     Deadline for Winter Session and spring study abroad programs is Oct.
15. Programs for Winter Session are available in London, Martinique,
Mexico, Italy, Israel, Costa Rica, Switzerland, Germany, France, Spain,
Japan and Hungary.
     The spring program includes study abroad in Austria, Costa Rica,
France, Scotland and England.

Delaware AIDSWALK
     The seventh annual Delaware AIDSWALK will take place Sunday, Oct. 24,
in downtown Wilmington. Last year, 750 walkers raised almost $60,000 to
benefit AIDS care and education. This year, the goal is to register 1,000
walkers and raise over $75,000.
     Walkers may participate individually or as teams. Registration begins
at 1 p.m. at H. Fletcher Brown Park. The walk will begin at 2 p.m.

Faculty Senate hearing
     The Faculty Senate Committee on Graduate Studies will hold an open
hearing at 4:30 p.m., Monday, Sept. 27, in Room 006 Kirkbride Lecture Hall
to discuss a proposal to establish a new interdisciplinary graduate degree
in biomechanics and movement sciences.
     Copies of the proposal are available for review in the reserve section
of the Morris Library; in the Office of Graduate Studies, 234 Hullihen
Hall; and in the Faculty Senate Office, 219 McDowell Hall.
