Final exam schedule
     Final examination dates, times and room assignments for summer
session (94J) classes are currently available for review on U-
Discover! under the directory entitled Student Information.
     The information posted in this directory is updated every Friday
evening throughout the summer semester.
     For more information regarding final examinations, contact
individual professors for details or the Scheduling Office at 831-
2114.


Office name change
     Effective July 1, the Career Planning and Placement Office has
been renamed the Career Services Center. This change reflects a
braodening of the office's job search resources.
     Employment trends have required innovative approaches to the job
search, with technology becoming an integral part of the process while
the Campus Interview Program remains one of the most visible services,
jobs also are successfully identified through a variety of other
means.
     The Career Services Center has been expanded to included
resources that will benefit students and alumni in all academic
programs.
     Additionally, U-Discover! now lists career resources of interest
to students and faculty.
     To view these options, select the Student Directory and Career
Services menus on the e-mail system.


PC maintenance
     Desktop maintenance service is now being provided by Bell
Atlantic Business Systems Services. The number to call for service is
1-800-777-8800.
     Digital Equipment Corporation no longer provides maintenance
services for the University of Delaware.


Surplus sale
     Central Receiving will hold a surplus sale consisting of
miscellaneous items, from noon-2 p.m., Wednesday, July 20, in Central
Receiving. All purchases are cash and carry.
