Medal recipient

     Joseph F. Hulihan, former president and chief operating officer
of Diamond State Telephone, received the University's Medal of Merit
at the College of Education convocation, after commencement May 28.
Hulihan received the 1992 Marvel Cup for outstanding community service
from the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce. The University's Medal of
Merit is awarded in recognition of contributions to human progress
through devotion to enduring values and service to others.
