Conflict resolution
     A conflict resolution workshop, sponsored by the Center for
Teaching Effectiveness, will be held from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m., Tuesday,
June 28, in the Rodney Room of the Perkins Student Center. The
workshop is designed to help people resolve their differences by
moving toward positions and common ground that everyone can support.

     Summer session final examination dates, times and room
assignments are currently posted on U-Discover! under the Student
Information directory. The information in this directory is updated
each Friday evening during summer sessions.

Summer academy
     The University of Delaware New Arc Academy for talented students
entering the sixth, seventh and eighth grades this fall is accepting
applications for its summer program to be held from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.,
Monday through Thursday, from July 18-Aug. 4 at the Willard Hall
Education Building. Students will work on problem-solving and research
skills in the fields of science, mathematics or technology using IBM
and Apple microcomputers. They also will learn to navigate the
computer-based information highway Internet, create and access data
bases and develop a multimedia presentation of their research.
     Tuition is $395, including the cost of instruction, the use of
microcomputers, field experiences and a final presentation program.
Parents must provide transportation. Lunch may be purchased on campus.

Family buffet
     The Blue & Gold Club will hold its monthly family night buffet
from 5-8 p.m., Wednesday, July 6, in the main dining room. The cost,
including service charge, is $10.95 for adults, $5.95 for children
ages 5 to 11, and free for children under 5.

membership application.


New address
     The Academic Services Center has moved to the George Evans House,
at 5 West Main St. The department phone numbers remain the same.


Directory ads
     The University's 1994-95 Campus Directory will be published by
DataNational. The directory will contain advertising in a final
