Temporary help
Departments in need of temporary employment services should first
contact Employee Services for Blue and Gold Temporaries. These
employees are usually familiar with the University's structure and
operating practices. The contact person in Employee Services is Mary
Ann Guns at 831-2171.
When Blue and Gold Temporaries are unavailable, the Purchasing
Department has contracted for outside temporary employment with
Network Personnel. The contact person there is Joan Sabbato at 832-

Rates under the contract are $9.24 per hour for secretary/word
processing services and $7.58 per hour for PC/word processing clerk.

contract, call Linda Cofran in Purchasing at 831-8292.

Medical premiums
The state of Delaware budget director has announced a premium
moratorium for the last pay in May. University employees who
contribute to the Basic, Comprehensive and Principal health plans will
not have to pay for health insurance for two weeks. The savings affect
semimonthly pay recipients on May 31 and biweekly pay recipients on
May 27.
This moratorium is possible due to the favorable claims experience
enjoyed by those enrolled in Basic, Comprehensive and Principal
coverage under the state employees' group insurance program.
