Publication now in juried competition

     East-West: Hand Papermaking Traditions & Innovations, issued by the
University of Delaware Library in 1988, has been selected for inclusion in
a juried competition of outstanding library publications issued during the
past 100 years.
     East-West accompanied a University of Delaware Library exhibition
curated by Alice Shreyer, former assistant director of libraries for
special collections, who is now with the University of Chicago Library.
     "A Century of Publications," sponsored by Arundel Antiquarian Books of
Los Angeles, will be exhibited at libraries throughout North America as a
retrospective survey of significant library publications from 1893-1993.
     The exhibition will be at the University of Delaware Library Feb.
13-April 21.
