June 3 deadline for proposals

     The deadline is June 3 for members of the University community who
wish to submit proposals for transportation-related research to be
conducted at the University under the Delaware Transportation Institute in
its fiscal year 1995 research program.
     The institute was established last year with to focus on
University-wide, multidisciplinary transportation-related research.
     The institute identifies sources of funding for research relevant to
Delaware's transportation needs and also assists in coordinating a range of
University research arrangements with the Delaware Department of
Transportation.

public policy, who serves as institute interim director.
     The insitute has developed a list of key research questions in core
areas of concern, as well as a proposal format that will allow for equal
and consistent evaluation.
