Eye on the market

     Heavy players in the Stock Market Game ponder choices as they pore
over the financial section of the newspaper. The students were participants
in the 1994 Stock Market Game Economics Fair, sponsored by the University's
Center for Economic Education. Approximately 180 elementary and middle
school students took part in the event, held April 20 and 27 at the
Delmarva Power & Light Conference Center. Teams were required to create
visual displays of a company, make oral presentations and take a written
test on financial and economic concepts. They also had to complete a
newspaper scavenger hunt.
