Campus Diversity Unit to hold open house in Hullihen Sept. 24
Members of the Campus Diversity Unit will host an open house from
3-4:30 p.m., Friday, Sept. 24, in Room 305 Hullihen Hall. The diversity
unit, housed on the third floor of Hullihen Hall, provides a variety of
services to diverse constituent groups.
The offices of Women's Affairs, Affirmative Action and Multicultural
Programs are part of the unit, and coordinators offer special services to
the physically challenged and to members of the University's lesbian, gay
and bisexual community. In addition, representatives from the Center for
Black Culture and HOLA are available to assist African-American and
Hispanic students, faculty and staff with specific concerns.
The office also serves as a referral point for the special interests
of University Jewish students. Attendance at the open house will enable
members of the campus community to become better acquainted with programs
and activities.
