Undergraduate Research Symposium set May 5

The annual Undergraduate Research Symposium will take place Thursday,
May 5, in the Ewing Room of the Perkins Student Center.
Sponsored by the University Honors Program, the symposium recognizes
exceptional research work at the undergraduate level and promotes student
awareness of undergraduate research possibilities.
Introductory remarks will be presented by Joan Bennett, coordinator of
undergraduate research, at approximately 1:10 p.m. Presentation of student
papers will run from 1:20-3:40 p.m.

are honors degree (HD) or degree with distinction (DWD) candidates.
Each presentation will be 15 minutes long and followed by a
five-minute discussion period. The University community is invited to
attend.
