Time to renew UDelVM tapes

     On the VM/XA CMS system, users are responsible for maintaining files
they have stored on magnetic tape. All magnetic tapes on UDelVM will expire
on June 30, unless users renew them.
     Directions for reviewing tapes and then either renewing or releasing
them can be found in U-Discover! Select:

     Computing and Technology, General CNS Information
       Central Multi-User Systems (Brahms, UDelVM, etc.)
         Time to Renew Tapes on UDelVM

     In addition, July 1 marks the last year of VM/XA CMS service, and
projects on that system will be renewed only if the project director can
demonstrate that the software or services required are not available
elsewhere.
     If the data are not required for processing but users want the tapes
for archival purposes, CNS can give them to users for safekeeping.
     If users are not saving tapes but need the data files, they can be
moved to one of the UNIX systems.
