Commencement May 28 in Delaware Stadium

     The University's 145th Commencement will be held outdoors in Delaware
Stadium, rain or shine, at 9 a.m., Saturday, May 28. Tom Clancy,
best-selling author of The Hunt for Red October, Patriot Games and Clear
and Present Danger, will deliver the Commencement address.
     Members of the class of 1994 must be assembled for academic procession
by 8:30 a.m.
     Seating for Commencement guests will be in the east and west stands of
Delaware Stadium. Limited on-field seating for persons with physical
disabilities will be available. Because of traffic congestion it is
recommended that participants and guests arrive early.
     After Commencement, the University's 10 college will hold individual
Convocation ceremonies at locations throughout campus. Each ceremony will
last approximately one hour.

                              Convocation schedule

College of Agricultural Sciences
     2 p.m., Auditorium, Mitchell Hall
     A reception will be held outside Mitchell Hall after the ceremony. In
     the event of rain, the reception will be held in Smith Hall. Box
     lunches will be available, and must be ordered in advance.

College of Arts and Science
     11 a.m., Delaware Stadium
     Convocation will be held in Delaware Stadium immediately after
     Commencement. Box lunches are available, and must be ordered in
     advance.

College of Business and Economics
     11 a.m., Bob Carpenter Sports/ Convocation Center
     After Convocation, box lunches will be offered in the Blue Ice Arena.
     They must be ordered in advance.

College of Education
     1:30 p.m., Delaware Field House
     A reception will precede the ceremony in the Clayton Hall lobby at 11
     a.m.

College of Engineering
     1 p.m., Bob Carpenter Sports/ Convocation Center
     A luncheon will precede the ceremony under the east stands of Delaware
     Stadium at 11 a.m.

College of Human Resources
     11 a.m., Delaware Field House
     After Convocation, box lunches will be offered in the Blue Ice Arena.
     They must be ordered in advance.

College of Marine Studies
     11 a.m., VIP Lounge, Blue Ice Arena
     Reception will follow college ceremony.

College of Nursing
     11:30 a.m., Auditorium, Mitchell Hall
     A reception will be held outside Mitchell Hall after the ceremony. In
     the event of rain, the reception will be held in Smith Hall.

College of Physical Education, Athletics and Recreation
     11 a.m., Newark Hall Auditorium
     A reception will follow the ceremony.

College of Urban Affairs and  Public Policy
     11:30 a.m., Room 120, Clayton Hall
     Reception will be held in the same location.
