U-Discover!
U-Discover!, the campus-wide information system, is the source of a
wide variety of useful information for all members of the campus community.
You can use U-Discover! over the campus network from residence halls,
offices, classrooms, the library and computer labs or on the U-Discover!
kiosks in the Student Services Building.
Recent additions to U-Discover!, under the heading "Computing and
Technology," include the following:
* Instructions on using "SAS/Graph" are available by selecting
"Instructions, Tips, and Answers" and "Technical Reports and
Program Documents."
* "Destination Discovery-The Discovery Channel Magazine,"
"Satellite Communications for Learning (SCOLA)" and "TLC
Monthly-The Learning Channel Magazine" can all be reached by
selecting "Campus TV and FM Listings," and "Off-Campus TV and
Radio Stations."
The following items are available under the "Student Information"
heading.
* A complete listing of "Summer (94J) Courses." This gopher search
provides the same course details you find in the registration
booklet, as well as how many seats are currently available. The
information is updated daily.
* The complete "Final Exam Schedule," which can be searched by full
or abbreviated course ID to find day, date, time and room for
each course section.
Available under the heading "Campus Events and Activities" are:
* The "UD 1994-95 Academic Calendar" is the updated academic
calendar for next year.
* The spring athletic schedules for individual sports are available
under "Athletics and Recreation."
Under the heading "UD Department and College Information Services,"
you will find:
* "UD OCEAN Information Center" (OCEANIC), a gopher server
supported by the College of Marine Studies, which includes its
marine information. See the notes within the directory for
connecting to the World Wide Web server as well.
