Safety news
     J. I. Case will provide at no charge a mandatory field upgrade program
to owners of certain Case IH Agricultural Equipment, including tractor
models 685 and 585.
The starter on these tractors needs to be modified to prevent the
unsafe practice of bypass starting, which can accidentally start the
machine by shorting across the starter motor terminals.
Contact the University's Department of Occupational Health and Safety
for further information if you have one of these tractors.

Bicycle registration
The Crime Prevention Unit of the Department of Public Safety is
conducting bicycle registration this month. Once a bicycle is registered,
Public Safety will have the make, model and serial number on file. If the
property is stolen or recovered, University Police will have access to
information that will assist in the investigation.
Registration will be held Tuesday, April 19, 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Kent
Dining Hall, 2-4 p.m., Carpenter Sports Building, and 4:30-6 p.m.,
Christiana Commons; Wednesday, April 20, 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Rodney Dining
Hall, 2-4 p.m., Smith Quad, and 4:30-6 p.m., Perkins Student Center Dining
