Teacher training

     For the second time, the United States Information Agency sponsored a
six-week Central American Teacher Training Institute at the University
conducted by the English Language Institute. The program, for 25
English-as-a-foreign-language teachers and teacher trainers from Belize,
Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama,
culminated in "Breaking the Ice," a two-day, mini-conference held in
Clayton Hall.
