Strategic moves

     Delaware chess champion Paul Powell played a simultaneous 40-board
match with serious-minded opponents of varying ages and experience at an
exhibition March 5 at Christiana Mall. The event, sponsored by the Chess
Club at the University, was held to promote the sport and the campus club's
recent formation. Meetings are at 8 p.m. each Tuesday in Room 009 Newark
Hall.
