Get into shape for WalkAmerica
Training walks for WalkAmerica, the annual charitable walk to raise
money for the March of Dimes and its fight for healthier babies, are taking
place on campus each Wednesday through April 20.
The theme for this year's annual fund-raising effort, scheduled for
Sunday, April 24, is "YoUDee Struts for the March of Dimes," and the first
500 campus participants who raise $25 in pledges will receive a limited
edition "Struttin' YoUDee" T-shirt. President David P. Roselle is honorary
chairperson of the event.
The campus training/fitness sessions have been scheduled for
convenience during the lunch hour, from 12:10-1 p.m., and begin on the
South Mall in front of the Morris Library. Interested individual employees
or groups from departments and offices are urged to participate. To
register for the training walks, call 831-1437.
Registration forms are available from Employee Services, telephone
831-6651.
