Peace Corps visits
Peace Corps recruiters will be on campus next month. On Monday, March
7, information tables will be open from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. in the Student
Center Concourse and from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. in the lobby of Townsend Hall. A
general information meeting will be held at 7 p.m. in the Kirkwood Room of
the Perkins Student Center.
On Tuesday, March 8, information tables will be open from 11 a.m.-1
p.m. in the Center for Black Culture and from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. in the lobby
of Townsend Hall. A meeting on agriculture programs will be held at 7 p.m.
in Room 201 of Townsend Hall.
Interviews for overseas volunteer positions will be held Monday and
Tuesday, March 21-22.Sign ups are in the Career Center.

Bryn Mawr Institute
The University will sponsor one woman to attend the Bryn Mawr Summer
Institute for Women in Higher Education Administration this year. The
institute, a residential program, will be held on the Bryn Mawr University
campus June 26-July 22.
The curriculum offers women faculty and administrators intensive
training in education administration in the area of academic development.
The program is appropriate for women who are seeking increased
administrative responsibilities.

Triple B special
The Blue and Gold Club's burger, beer and basketball special is
available from 4-7 p.m., Friday, Feb. 18 and 25, this special features a
6-ounce grilled burger, on a kaiser roll with lettuce, tomato and choice of
toppings, as well as french fries and a draft beer or soda for $5.95.
Club membership is required and all University employees are eligible.

Eating smart
The faculty/staff assistance program will sponsor a lunchtime seminar
featuring a speaker from the American Cancer Society, who will offer tips
about shopping smart and eating healthy. The event is scheduled from noon-1
p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 23, in the Collins Room of the Perkins Student
Center. Bring a brown bag lunch. For more information, call 831-2414.
Non-alcoholic night
Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity will hold its first ever "Virgin Night,"
Thursday, Feb.24, at 143 Courtney Street. Local musician Larry Roney will
perform while the fraternity serves non-alcoholic drinks to send a message
that fraternities do not need alcohol to have a good time. Call 837-8979.
