Razzle, dazzle and all that jazz

     When the University of Delaware Marching Band-160 strong-took to the
field Saturday, they were uniformly splendid! Band members are performing
in new uniforms, modeled here by trumpeter Neil Poloso (right).  The royal
blue jackets with tails bear the interlocking UD logo and are set off by
blue and gold reversible capes, gold cummerbunds and topped by black patent
leather shakos. Drum major Michelle Watson wears a contrasting white
uniform, trimmed with blue and gold, while guard captain Barbara Glodek
sparkles in blue sequins.
