Newark Hall parking
     The Newark Hall gate-controlled lot, now open to full-time employees,
offers convenient parking to employees working in the Student Services
Building, Newark Hall, Graham Hall, the Center for Composite Materials,
Maintenance Center and other east campus buildings.
     Gate-controlled parking, with access controlled by an individual's
University ID card, guarantees a parking space upon arrival to campus.

UDARF luncheon
     Brown-bag luncheons will be held on Tuesdays for the University
Association of Retired Faculty on Feb. 23, March 16 and 30 and April 13 and
27. Meetings will be at 11:45 a.m. in the Read Room of the Perkins Student
Center, with the exception of the April meetings, which will begin at noon.

Surplus sale
     The Purchasing Department will hold a surplus sale from noon-2 p.m.,
Tuesday, Feb. 8, in the General Services Building, Central Receiving.
Approximately 300 captain's style wooden chairs and 60 dining hall tables
will be sold. All sales are cash and carry, with same day removal.

Washington shuttle
     The shuttle to Washington, D.C.-to the Library of Congress and the
Folger Museum-will operate during the spring semester on Friday of each
week.
     Reservations must be made in advance by calling Joann Civarelli or
Darlene Reynolds, in the Department of English at 831-2361, by noon on
Thursday.

Art exhibition
     Watercolors, sumi ink washes, drawings and mixed media by Charlotte
Coleman, senior secretary in the Department of Civil Engineering, are on
display during February in the Newark Free Library.
     Coleman graduated from Indiana University Northwest with a bachelor of
fine arts degree and has been exhibiting her works since 1978.

Women's basketball
     WVUD (91.3 FM), has received permission from Delmarva Broadcasting
(WSTW/WDEL) to broadcast the women's basketball game live at 1 p.m.,
Saturday, Feb. 5, against Drexel University.
