Spring into fitness 1994; What's New?
Session I:
Feb. 10-Mar. 23
What's New?
New classes: Personal Safety and Self Defense, 90-minute Combo, Circuit
Weight Training, Meditation, The Beginning Exerciser and Beginning Weight
Training.
Longer classes: All classes except aquatics and lunch time have been
extended to 60 minutes.
New location: Avoid the parking hassles, take Aerobic Dance at the Delaware
Field House Tuesday and Thrusday at 12:10 p.m.
Note: All programs have minimum/ maximum registration requirements.
Programs with insufficient registration will be canceled, and money can
either be refunded or used for another program. It is important to register
early to hold a place in the class of one's choice. If individuals register
by mail, the office cannot guarantee that classes will have not already
been filled by the time mailed registration reaches the office.
Eligibility: Faculty, staff, spouses, students and alumni are eligible to
participate in fitness programs.
Registration: Begins Thursday, Feb. 3 and ends Friday, Feb. 11.
Registration may be performed by completing the application form at
Carpenter Sports Building (CBS), from 8:30 am-1 p.m. or 2 p.m.-4 p.m. It
must be accompanied by a check made payable to the University of Delaware.
Call 831-2264 during normal weekday hours with questions. Student
registration costs are reduced by the Student Comprehensive Fee (SCF).
Student costs are shown in ( ).
*** Harrington Commons classes are available only to students.
*** Employee Fitness Center (EFC), CSB classes are available only to
employees.
Refund Policy: Participants requesting refunds for any reason (work
schedule, injury, etc.) will no longer be issued checks. Instead, they will
be given a Fitness Program Credit to use toward another class in the
future. Requests for Fitness Program Credits must be submitted in writing
to C. J. Keudell by the end of registration (Feb. 11). Registration credits
will not be issued after that date.
