CRPs to receive training Feb. 8 on new performance appraisal form
A new performance appraisal form for salaried staff will make its
debut this year. The form, like the new professional performance appraisal
form introduced last year, will be available on diskette in either
WordPerfect for the PC (IBM compatible) or Microsoft Word for the
Macintosh.
A training program introducing Computer Resource Persons (CRPs) to the
template documents will be held on Feb. 8. CRPs will receive a diskette
containing both the professional and salaried staff performance appraisal
forms to take back to their units. The electronic version affords the user
ease of documentation and a reduction in paper. In addition, changes can be
made to the document while still retaining a "clean-looking" appraisal
form.
Sigurd Andersen, lead consultant/analyst in Computing and Network
Services will present the information for the CRPs. Andersen is the
consultant responsible for the development of the WordPerfect version,
while Judi Brown, senior consultant/analyst developed the Microsoft Word
version of the performance appraisal form.
Program details are announced on the CRPNews Bulletin Board. CRPs are
encouraged to register for the program as soon as possible via the
electronic form on CRPNews.
