     The beginning of a new year is an ideal time to assess your current
career situation and develop a comprehensive plan for professional growth
and development. This special supplement includes descriptions of workshops
and other programs that will be offered this spring by Employee Relations.
I encourage you to review this material carefully and discuss career
enhancement opportunities with your supervisor. Of particular interest to
salaried staff may be workshops detailing the new performance appraisal
