Campus recycling
Contractor gives students an 'A'

Student workers who are involved in recycling have earned an excellent
reputation both on and off the campus, according to Roger Bowman, grounds
supervisor and coordinator of the University's recycling program.
Bowman received a call from Carmen Micucio, owner of Able Recycling
Co., who complimented the University on the fine students working on
recycling. He said the students were helpful and went out of their way to
assist in the recycling operation at his plant. He wished he could find
such good employees to work for him.
Students involved with Able Recycling are senior Scott Dailey,
freshman William Davis, senior John Findley, senior Carol Harris, freshman
Krista Hirsch, junior Keith Lacy, junior Marc Lucenius, sophomore Jason
Monroe and junior Jeanne Poggi.
Bowman said he agreed with Micucio, adding that the students who have
been involved in recycling in the past and present have not complained that
"the work is dirty and beneath them." Instead, he said, they have always
been pleasant, positive and helpful in everything they have been asked to
do."
