Army ROTC to offer summer employment, scholarships

     The Army ROTC Program will conduct its annual Basic Camp training in
June and July at Fort Knox, Ky., teaching basic military skills and
leadership techniques.
     The program is open to all students who have at least 56 credit hours
at the end of the spring 1994 semester and who plan on graduating in the
spring of 1996 or later.
     The Army will provide transportation to and from Fort Knox, room and
board and clothing for the training. Approximately $600 will be earned
during the six-week training period.
     Participants will have a good chance of winning a full two-year
scholarship or a $2,000-per-year partial scholarship. These are available
to all majors and are based on grade point average and camp performance.
     Interested students should contact  Maj. John Cooper or Capt. David
Critics in the University's Department of Military Science in Mechanical
Hall.
