9 students elected to Phi Beta Kappa

     Nine seniors were elected to Phi Beta Kappa this fall. Those inducted
include: Travis W. Adams, Richard S. Beno, Carol L. Chapman, Rebecca M.
Drury, Sonja C. Kerby, Scott M. LaBarge, Brenda L. Lakeman, Megan C.
McDermott and Kelley C. Warren.
     After the initiation ceremony, held Nov. 14 in Clayton Hall, Stanley
I. Sandler Henry Belin du Pont Professor of Chemical Engineering, made a
presentation entitled "Environmental Perception: Fact and Fiction."
     Sandler is this year's recipient of the University of Delaware Francis
Alison Award.
