Blue Hens sports on the air

     This weekend, Delaware sports fans will have several opportunities,
both in person and via the broadcast media, to see their teams battle in
important contests:
     * A replay of the Blue Hen football team's 49-48 first-round playoff
victory over the University of Montana will be presented at 7 p.m., Friday,
Dec. 3, on Channel 48 of the University's campus cable system.
     * Live basketball games will be aired on Saturday, Dec. 4, when the
Blue Hens play the Hornets of Delaware State University in the Bob
Carpenter Center's Acierno Arena. The women's game starts at 1 p.m. and the
men's contest will follow. These games will be aired on Channel 48 of the
University's cable system and on Channel 20 of TCI CableVision of New
Castle County.
     * The quarter-final round of the NCAA Division 1-AA football playoffs
continue Saturday, Dec. 4, when the Fightin' Blue Hens visit Huntington, W.
Va., to face Marshall University. The game will be aired live, beginning at
1 p.m., on Channel 2 of the University campus cable system and on Channel 2
of TCI CableVision.
