Rededication

     Mitchell Hall was rededicated at a gala benefit performance, "Mandy
Patinkin in Concert: Experiment" on Nov. 1. Mitchell Hall, which was opened
in 1929, was a gift of H. Rodney Sharp, Delaware '00. Extensive renovations
were completed this year. The building was named in honor of Samuel C.
Mitchell, president of the University from 1914-20. Honorary chairpersons
of the event, which benefited performing arts scholarships at the
University, were Donnan Sharp Monk, Mr. and Mrs. Bayard Sharp, Mr. and Mrs.
H. Rodney Sharp III and Mr. and Mrs. William M. W. Sharp.
