Administrative assignments

     Several administrative changes have occurred during the last several
months. Following are the names, units and positions of new permanent or
acting administrators in units across campus.

College of Agricultural Sciences
     Conrado M. Gempesaw, professor and chairperson of the Department of
       Food and Resource Economics.
     William F. Ritter, professor and chairperson of the Department of
       Agricultural Engineering.

College of Arts and Science
     Paul Mettler, professor and director of the Physical Therapy
       Program.
     Evelyn Satinoff, professor and chairperson of the Department of
       Psychology.
     Damie Stillman, professor and chairperson of the Department of Art
       History.

College of Engineering
     Azar Parbizi-Majidi, associate professor and interim chairperson of
       the Department of Mechanical Engineering.
     Michael H. Santare, associate professor and director of the
       Orthopedic and Biomechanical Engineering Center.

College of Human Resources
     Karen F. Stein, professor and chairperson of the Department of
       Textiles, Design and Consumer Economics.

College of Education
     Cynthia Okolo, associate professor of educational studies and
       faculty director of the College School.

College of Nursing
     Madeline Lambrecht, associate professor and director of special
       programs.
     Janice Selekman, associate professor and chairperson of the
       Department of Nursing.

College of Urban Affairs and Public Policy
     Timothy K. Barnekov, associate professor and director of the Center
       for Community Development.
     John Byrne, professor and director of the Center for Energy and
       Environmental Policy.

Other programs
     Robert W. Birkmire, acting director of the Institute of Energy
