Tickets in Mitchell
     Full-time undergraduate and graduate students are able to pick up
their tickets for Delaware football games and Bob Carpenter Center events
at the Mitchell Hall box office, located on the Mall.
     The Mitchell Hall box office is open from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on
Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays only during the weeks of home football
games through the fall semester. Tickets for performances at the Carpenter
Center will be sold during those weeks and on other weeks based on ticket
demand and the concert performance schedule.
     Group football tickets may only be picked up at the Carpenter Center
box office.

Bookstore hours
     The University Bookstore will offer the following extended hours
through Sept. 11:
     
        * Thursday, Sept. 2, 8:30 a.m.-8 p.m.;
        * Friday, Sept. 3, 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m.;
        * Saturday, Sept. 4, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.;
        * Monday, Sept. 6, Labor Day- closed;
        * Tuesday-Thursday Sept. 7-9, 8:30 a.m.-7 p.m.;
        * Friday, Sept. 10, 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m.; and
        * Saturday, Sept. 11, 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
        
     Regular hours, which are from 9:30 a.m.-6 p.m., Mondays-Fridays, and
from 11 a.m.-3 p.m., Saturdays, will resume Monday, Sept. 13.

Library schedule
     The Morris Library will be open from 8 a.m.-8 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 2;
8 a.m.-5 p.m., Friday, Sept. 3; and 1-5 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 4.
     The library is closed for the Labor Day holiday on Sunday, Sept. 5,
and Monday, Sept. 6.
     Staffing will be limited and not all service desks will be open from 8
a.m.-5 p.m., Thursday, and 1-5 p.m., Saturday.
     The Special Collections and Exhibition Gallery will be open from 9
a.m.-5 p.m., Thursday and Friday.
     All libraries will begin regular fall semester hours on Tuesday, Sept. 7.
     Morris Library hours from Sept. 7 through Nov. 23 are 8 a.m.-midnight,
Mondays-Thursdays; 8 a.m.-8 p.m., Fridays; 9 a.m.-8 p.m., Saturdays; and 11
a.m.-midnight, Sundays.
     During the fall semester, the Special Collections and Exhibition
Gallery will be open from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Mondays-Fridays, and until 8 p.m.
on Tuesdays.
     On the fall break, Monday, Oct. 25, the Morris Library and branch
libraries will be open and follow the regular Monday hours.

Washington shuttle
     The Washington, D.C., shuttle for faculty and graduate students only
will begin operation Friday, Sept. 3, and continue through the academic
year until June.
     Departure is scheduled at 7:30 a.m. from the Perkins Student Center
parking lot. The shuttle will leave Washington, D.C., at 4:30 p.m. and
return to Newark at 6:30 p.m. Reservations must be made by noon,
Wednesdays.

Amish bike tour
     The Diamond State Bicycle Club will conduct a tour of the Amish
country on Saturday, Sept. 11.
     There will be 25-, 50- and 100-mile, flat country routes.
     Departure is from Legislative Mall in Dover. Registration begins at 7
a.m., and the tour begins at 8:15 a.m. Cost is $8.
     The event will be held rain or shine. For information, call Tom

Supplies scam
     A salesperson may be contacting units across the campus offering Savin
toner at a discount. The manufacturer warns that such unauthorized toner
may not work or may jam copiers.
     Employees are advised to check with Purchasing or Supporting Services
on such purchases, particularly those that seem to be real bargains or
those involving companies with no track record on campus.
