More gold for the University                                   
                                                               
     A new University of Delaware parking lot  is under construction 
on the corner of Orchard Road and Amstel Avenue.                     
     The new gold lot, which will accommodate 100 vehicles, is       
expected to open before Oct. 1,  according to Roger Bowman,          
supervisor of plant operations, grounds division.                    
     The lot is temporary. Therefore, the material being used is     
recycled concrete. A new University business and economics annex     
eventually will be built there.
