Delaware wins NAC team title

For the second straight year, the University of Delaware has won the
North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Commissioner's Cup, signifying overall
excellence among the 20 NAC intercollegiate sports teams for the 1992-93
season.
The Blue Hens, who captured the all-sports trophy in 1991-92 during
their first season in the league, tallied 297 points to out-distance
Vermont (255), Boston University (251), New Hampshire (235), Northeastern
(226), Drexel (211), Maine (207) and Hartford (174).
The point system is based on combined final regular season standings
and final playoff standings in the NAC's men's and women's sports.
Delaware took five NAC titles during the season, claiming
championships in volleyball, men's basketball, men's indoor track and
field, men's outdoor track and field and men's lacrosse.
Boston University led the league in this category with six team titles
in the 20-sport competition.
Hartford and Northeastern each won three championships. Maine, Drexel
and Vermont each won one championship.
