July workshops to compare campus pension and retirement programs

     In response to a request from the Salaried Staff Advisory Council and
the Commission on the Status of Women, the Benefits Office will offer
workshops comparing the state pension plan to the TIAA/CREF and Fidelity
retirement programs.
     The workshops will provide an excellent opportunity to learn about
both programs, as well as other options for enhancing retirement income.
     Program materials will be sent prior to the workshops and also will be
available in the Benefits Office for employees who are unable to attend.
Participants in the state pension plan may register for the workshops by
contacting Kay McCormick at 831-8823.
     The one-hour workshops will be held in the Collins Room of the Perkins
Student Center in Newark and in Room 104 Cannon Lab in Lewes.


Workshops are scheduled in Newark:
     Noon, Wednesday, July 21
     3 p.m., Thursday, July 22
     10 a.m., Friday, July 23
     3 p.m., Tuesday, July 27
     10 a.m., Wednesday, July 28
     Noon, Friday, July 30

A workshop is scheduled in Lewes:
