Don't let fingers walk to Yellow Pages scam

At least one University department has received a "renewal invoice"
for Yellow Pages advertising from a company in Boston called Classified
Directory Publishers. Employees should know that Classified Directory
Publishers is currently under investigation by the Boston postmaster for
mail fraud.
The scam is to send what looks like an official renewal invoice
requesting $147 as payment for classified advertising in the Yellow Pages.
The invoice has the Yellow Pages logo and checks are to be made payable to
Yellow Pages.
Anyone who receives one of these invoices should contact Campus Mail.
Personnel there will report the incident to the Newark postmaster.
Questions regarding the invoices can be directed to Accounts Payable at
831-8521.
