Legislator honored

     Delaware Rep. Jane P. Maroney receives congratulations from Board of
Trustees Chairman Andrew B. Kirkpatrick Jr. after receiving the
University's Medal of Merit at the College of Human Resources Convocation
in Delaware Field House May 29.
     Maroney, state representative from Talleyville, is well-known for her
support of human services and as an agent of change on children's issues.
The Medal of Merit is awarded in recognition of contributions to human
progress through devotion to enduring values and service to others.
