Getting down to business
Approximately 250 Delaware school children participated in the College
of Business and Economics Meaningful Economics Competition, held June 3 in
Purnell Hall. Sixty teams of third to sixth graders competed in the
program, which was presented and taught by teachers who were trained at the
college's Center for Economics Education.
Each team competed in several areas, involving the basic principles of
economics, teamwork and problem-solving skills and advertising.
