Chemistry students win four awards

     Four awards--three of them first place--were received by Delaware
students at the 57th Intercollegiate Student Chemists convention April 17
at Juniata College.
     Six papers were presented in four areas, by the following students:
biochemistry, Brendan Gingrich; inorganic chemistry, Paula Briggs and
Michael Wagaman; organic chemistry, Ben Dugan and Karl Hansen; and physical
chemistry, August Calhoun.
     Gingrich, Calhoun and Briggs received first-place awards, and Hansen
received a second-place award.
