Aquaculture conference
John Ewart, aquaculture specialist for the Sea Grant Marine Advisory
Service, is chairperson of the "Aquaculture in the Mid-Atlantic Conference
and Trade Show," to be held June 8-10 at the Sheraton Inn in Dover.
This event will feature a wealth of information on aquaculture, from
seminars about financing aquaculture operations to field demonstrations of
farm pond production systems.
Registration is $45 per day or $100 for the entire conference. For

Studio exhibitions
Local artist Wynn Breslin will open her studio to the public for three
weekends, from 11 a.m.-4 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays, June 5-6, 12-13 and
19-20. Breslin's studio is located at 470 Terrapin Lane, off Delaware 896,
north of Carpenter State Park.
This open studio event will feature floral watercolors and Maine
paintings, never shown before.

Marine studies tours
The College of Marine Studies will offer free public tours of the
Marine Studies Complex in Lewes at 10:30 a.m., Fridays, during June, July
and August.
Tours consist of a 20-minute slide presentation introducing the
college's faculty and their work, followed by a one-hour walking tour of
Cannon and Smith laboratories.

Directory changes
Telephone Services is in the process of reviewing data that will be
included in the upcoming edition of the University Telephone Directory.
Alphabetical departmental listings are found on pages 25 through 36 of the
current directory. Employees should review these listings and submit any
recommended changes, additions or deletions to the Telephone Services
Office, 112 Newark Hall, by June 11.
Summer softball
Rosters are now being accepted for the summer intramural softball
program, which will begin Monday, June 14. Rosters, which are available in
the Intramural Office, located in 101 Carpenter Sports Building, are due
Wednesday, June 9. Men's, women's and co-ed teams will be accepted.

Alumni attorneys
A reception for attorneys who are alumni of the University will be
held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 23, at the Deer Park Tavern on Main
Street. Special guests will be political science faculty James Soles,
Leslie Goldstein and James Magee.
Sponsored by the Outreach Committee of the Alumni Association, the
reception will include free munchies, and beverages will be available for
purchase.
Persons planning to attend are asked to make reservations by June 18
