Training in Computing
Listed below are the Computer Network Services (CNS) User
Services computing seminars for the next two weeks. A complete User
Education Schedule is published before the beginning of each semester
and sent to all faculty and staff. If you would like a copy for
reference, please contact Debbie Cannon at 831-8445. Registration is
required for these seminars.
A beginner class is for someone totally new to the computer or
system. A novice class is for individuals who have used the system but
not the software package.
An advanced class is for those who have used the system and the
software and want to learn more about the advanced capabilities.
Handouts that you can keep are not generally distributed in
classes. Starred items (*) below indicate classes for which you can
obtain a free handout before class from the User Services Reference
Library, in 014 Smith Hall.
Two starred items (**) indicate handouts included in
documentation bundles that you may purchase from the University
Bookstore.
