Changes at a glance

     This is a summary of highlights and changes to the University of
Delaware Flexible Benefits Program for plan year July 1, 1993, through June
30, 1994.

   Health care enhancements
       * Preventive care services expanded to include prostate testing.
       * Coverage for smoking cessation patches added.
       * Comprehensive plan threshold for chiropractic services increased
         from $200 to $400 before contacting Intracorp.
       * Maximum lifetime coverage for in-vitro fertilization increased
         from $25,000 to $30,000.

   Catastrophic major medical coverage
       * Employee contributions will be paid for with before-tax dollars.

   Prices/contributions
       * Reflect higher medical costs to the University and to employees.

   Social Security wage base
       * $57,600, taxed at 6.2 percent

   Medicare wage base
       * $135,000, taxed at 1.45 percent
