Robert R. Jordan, Delaware Geological Survey, received honorary
membership award from American Association of Petroleum Geologists for
his outstanding contributions to the understanding of geology of
Atlantic Coastal Province and for his leadership in public policy.
Anna Ciulla, medical technology, received a tribute award from
Delaware House of Representatives for her extraordinary dedication to
the field of medical technology at joint meeting of Delaware Society
for Medical Technology and Delaware Laboratorian Association, April 14.
Kathryn L. Kotula, food science, serves as peer-reviewer for Journal
of Food Protection and scientific reviewer for Food Safety Inspection
Service Research Project Narratives.
Dallas G. Hoover, food science, appointed newsletter editor, Institute
of Food Technologists, Biotechnology Division. He is also coordinator
for the annual student paper competition for the division.
Robert Taggart, educational studies, finished 595th out of 7,500
finishers in the Boston Marathon, April 19, and 14th of the 800 in his
age division (50-54).
