Coach of year

     Jim Fischer, assistant professor of physical education, was voted the
1993 North Atlantic Conference indoor track men's coach of the year. Head
coach of both men's cross country and track and field squads for 11 years,
Fischer has guided his teams to numerous conference track titles, finishing
at least third every year since1984 and placing for 1993.
