Spring Commencement to be May 29 in Delaware Stadium

     Commencement will be held in Delaware Stadium, rain or shine, at 9
a.m., Saturday, May 29.
     Graduates must be assembled in their academic procession by 8:30 a.m.
     Seating for Commencement guests will be in the east and west stands of
Delaware Stadium. Limited on-field seating for persons with physical
disabilities will be available.
     Ken Burns, creator of the award-winning documentary The Civil War,
will address the graduates.
     After the 1993 Commencement exercises, each college will hold
Convocation ceremonies at locations throughout campus. Each ceremony will
last approximately one hour.
     The College of Education Convocation requires admission tickets and,
in the event of rain, the College of Arts and Science requires tickets. 
Ticket information will be sent to graduates by those colleges.

College of Agricultural Sciences
     2 p.m., Auditorium, Mitchell Hall
     Box lunches are offered prior to Convocation under the east stands of
     Delaware Stadium.

College of Arts and Science
     11 a.m., Delaware Stadium
     In the event of rain, the Arts and Science Convocation will be held in
     the Bob Carpenter Center at 1:30 p.m.

College of Business and Economics
     11 a.m., Bob Carpenter Center

College of Education
     Noon, Room 101, Clayton Hall

College of Engineering
     2 p.m., Delaware Field House

College of Human Resources
     11 a.m., Delaware Field House

College of Marine Studies
     11 a.m., VIP Lounge, Blue Ice Arena

College of Nursing
     11:30 a.m., Auditorium, Mitchell Hall

College of Physical Education, Athletics and Recreation
     1 p.m., Auditorium, Newark Hall

College of Urban Affairs and Public Policy
     11:30 a.m., Room 120, Clayton Hall

Regalia rental
     Faculty and professional staff participating in either ceremony must
wear academic regalia.  It may be rented through the University Bookstore.
