Twenty alumni honored for professional achievement
The University's Presidential Citation for Outstanding Achievement
recognizes graduates of the past 20 years who have made exemplary progress
in professional and community activities.
A ceremony, followed by a reception at the president's house, was held
Wednesday, March 24, to honor 20 outstanding alumni. They are:
* Mona Boyd Browne, Delaware '81, human resources,
dietetics-president, Nutrition Communication Services, and author
of Healthy Start: Food to Grow On;
* Theodore H. Carski, Delaware '86 PhD, agricultural sciences, plant
science and soil chemistry-senior research chemist, DuPont Co.;
* Steven A. Combs, Delaware '88, arts and science, music-opera
singer, Metropolitan Opera;
